Refund Policy

At Dastan Fabrics, we take pride in the quality of our raw fabrics and textiles. If something goes wrong with your order, we're here to make it right. Please read this policy carefully to understand when and how refunds or exchanges apply.

Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

Eligible for return

  1. Wrong item delivered
  2. Item damaged or defective on arrival
  3. Item significantly different from description
  4. Incorrect quantity received
Not eligible for return
  1. Item has been cut or altered
  2. Item has been washed or used
  3. Change of mind after delivery
  4. Request raised after 7 days

How to Request a Return or Refund

  1. Contact us within 7 days
  2. Share your order details
  3. Send photographic evidence
  4. Wait for our review
  5. Return the item (if approved)

Refund Method & Timeline

Since all orders are placed on Cash on Delivery (COD), refunds cannot be processed back to a card or wallet. Approved refunds will be issued via bank transfer to the account details provided by the customer.

  1. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your bank account after approval.
  2. Dastan Fabrics will only transfer refunds to bank accounts held in the name of the customer who placed the order.
  3. Shipping charges are non-refundable, except in cases where the error is on our part.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange a product (e.g. for a different colour or fabric type), exchanges are only permitted under the same eligibility criteria as returns  wrong item, damage, or significant product mismatch. We do not offer exchanges for change of mind.

Exchange requests follow the same process as refunds. Once your returned item is received and inspected, the replacement will be dispatched within 2–3 business days.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your order arrives visibly damaged from transit, please refuse the delivery and notify us immediately. If damage is discovered upon opening the parcel, contact us within 24 hours with photographic evidence for priority assistance.

In the rare case of a lost shipment confirmed by the courier, Dastan Fabrics will offer a full replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.

Refund Method

Approved refunds are issued via the original payment method used at checkout.

  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be processed via bank transfer to an account provided by the customer.
  • Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to reflect after approval.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Order Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placement, provided they have not yet been processed or dispatched. To cancel, contact us immediately at dastanfabricscare@gmail.com with your order number.

Once an order has been processed or shipped, cancellation is no longer possible and the standard return and refund process applies.
